In line with government guidance, due to the ongoing Omnicron variant of Covid, we have in place continuing safety precautions, both for our staff and all our customers.
With all of us now being in the second phase of Covid 19, we have again focused on careful planning.
Every business has had to deal with things in different ways.
Before attending, we undertake a risk assessment, this details what is best and safe for customers and our staff, i.e. internal doors open, well ventilated areas, sanitiser, mask and social distance.
Our staff have been trained and requested to wear PPE, face masks, sanitise before entry to your premises and on exit.
Keep Safe and Well.

‘STAY ELECTRICALLY SAFE WITH G K EVANS’
From 26th May 2020, we have an Electrician back in work for any emergency work.
As our industry looks at how operations will work in a post Covid-19 world, here at G K Evans, we have implemented a number of key changes to ensure Covid-19 secure, protecting our employees and customers. Before we attend homes or business, our office will have some questions to ask re Covid-19and on arrival at your home or business, our engineers will ask a few questions, and carry out a Covid-19 risk assessment with you, our customer. We ask for a good ventilated property, doors to be opened to avoid contact. As with Government instructions, we will maintain a social distance, wherever possible, and hand hygiene is a priority. We have introduced reinforced cleaning processes, on tools and equipment.
We pay close attention to high contact objects, like door handles etc in your homes and businesses, and have sanitiser kits on all our vans for entry to homes and business and on exit of works. Ultimately, the decision lies with you, our customers and you must feel comfortable with our strategies, as safety for us all is paramount. So please feel free to discuss anything and make adjustments to protect you and our staff.
‘Let’s all stay safe to get through this’.
